On May 7, 2014, the daytime show "The Doctors" discussed the topic of Memorial Diamonds. The Funeral Service Association of Canada's annual convention was held June 3rd to 6th 2013 in London, Ontario. Remembrance Diamonds Corporation exhibited again this year, and participated in media interviews on the growing popularity of memorial diamonds as a unique choice to remember a cherished loved one. At this year's event, we highlighted our recently announced partnership with highly acclaimed Vancouver based jeweller Sonja Picard; which was also an industry news item that appeared in the May/June issue of Funeral Business Advisor. We were also once again featured by the CBC in an article entitled "More Canadians choose cremation over caskets". Remembrance Diamonds was pleased to exhibit at the Cremation Association of North America's annual convention which was held in Vancouver, August 15 to 18, 2012. Prior to the event we were interviewed by the Province newspaper in Vancouver, and at the event, interviewed by CBC. Click the images below to see both the convention details and news stories. Another great Funeral Service Association of Canada convention in 2012, this time in beautiful Regina, Saskatchewan. We were delighted to see our fellow members again this year - from suppliers, to funeral homes, to our gracious hosts. This year we were given the opportunity to visit the Global TV studios and chat with local anchor Heather Anderson to discuss Remembrance Diamonds in detail. On May 23, 2012, a CNN broadcast featuring Scott Fong - director of our Algordanza office in Hong Kong was seen by millions around the world, including Canada and the U.S. The same day, CBC posted and article referencing the story. As a result, client inquiries to Algordanza offices worldwide increased tremendously; for those who received responses only a day or two later, we apologize for the inconvenience. Normal inquiry levels have resumed, and the stories are now viewable online (Note - the missing CNN video that was embedded in the CBC article is provided below):
Remembrance Diamonds Corporation, along with our international partners Algordanza AG and USA, exhibited at The International Cemetery, Cremation and Funeral Association's annual convention; which was held at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada USA March 19th to 22nd 2012. Also during the show, Algordanza USA's You Tube video below, which highlights the diamond making process, exceeded 30,000 views. The event was well attended and we were excited to see both new, and familiar, faces from other shows such as the annual FSAC convention.
Also in 2011, Remembrance Diamonds Corporation exhibited at the Funeral Service Association of Canada's annual convention in Saint John, New Brunswick.
